It's Ready

Hey, I finished the line drawing for a new illustration. I hope to start coloring it tomorrow, I want to complete this one and start a new one right after because I feel like I'm in a great mood for drawing.

Anyway, the story behind it will be published on the Flickr, if I decide to put it there once it's done. Sometimes I feel like I don't wanna put everything I do on Flickr; but since I cleaned it and removed lots of old stuff, it looks a little empty. 

Meh, I guess I'll think about a solution -a voice in my head says "draw more!" that would solve the problem-.

Enough fuss, here's the line drawing.

 

As you can see, the ducks are different than the one I posted some days ago, there are a couple of things to do in the background but it's pretty much ready. I want to make some more experiments with lightning in this one.

Skull Defekts - Peer Amid

Skull Defetks' new album Peer Amid is my favorite listen lately; it has all the things I like to find in a record: atmosphere, psychedelia, noise and pounding circular drum rhythms that blow my mind away.
I suggest, if you liked the previous music videos I've linked, to check the whole record; when you reach the final track you'll be very happy and your ears will smoke!

Almost There

Hey, I found time to go on with the drawing; there isn't much to do before it's good to go for coloring; I just wanted to post a snippet of it, I thrown another character in it; it's a guardian Smokey, something like the Holy Smokes from another illustration, and he/she/it is supposed to save the young lady from the Cyclops' grasp, will he/she/it succeed in the perilous task?

 

I'm going to start coloring it as soon as I can, hope it will be done in a week or so.

New Steps

So, I found some time to proceed a little further with the new illo; not very much, but unfortunately things will be like this for some time.

I'm posting it, hoping I'll be able to show something more this week; I just gotta make the background then it's ready for the markers.

 

I'll try and start another one soon, I got an idea floating around my head and I want to fix it on paper as soon as I can.

End Of Year

So 2010 is over; I wish it was a great year for all of you and that 2011 may be even greater.

I end this year's posting with one of the most beautiful songs I heard in 2010, it's Parallels by The Soft Moon, hear that wonderful Wire-y bassline and the motorik drum beat, you just gotta love it!

The new illustration is going on smoothly, I'm making the background; I'll post the line drawing's scan when it's done! Talk next year! Ciao!
