N.5

Just wow! Sadly this is just a commercial for N.5 E-book, but how would you feel about a Studio 4°C movie on N.5 eh? That would be the biggest animated movie of the 21st Century!

Taiyo Matsumoto is one of my favorite Japanese comic artists, he is hugely imaginative and I love his blend of manga and French comics influence.

N.5 is without doubt his coolest work, I also love Tekkon Kinkreet but N.5 has a whole incredible world, filled with strange characters and places!

I wish I could sometimes manage to give a Matsumoto feel to my drawings, but I'm usually too "precise" to reproduce a roughness like his!

Ensemble Economique - Hail

This is a really cool song from Brian Pyle of Starving Weirdos' solo project, his album Psychical is definitely one of the best records that popped out this year.
Going to post an older drawing on Flickr as soon as I get my laptop back, new drawings proceeding fast as well, maybe before end of the year there'll be two new ones ready to display.
I got a couple of cool artbooks in the mail, hope they'll be delivered soon, maybe I'll share some pictures on the blog.

A Song I Can't Stop Listening To Lately

This song is a frequent listen nowadays, it's the best track in Ambitious Lovers' debut album titled Envy.

I'm really into the mix of noisy guitar and punk funk/mutant disco vibe it has; and the interplays between the distorted guitar and the drums make me so happy!
